Since our very first day, as pioneers of bone conduction technology and promoter of open-ear listening, we have strived to make listening to music a safer, more comfortable, and more enjoyable experience in our daily lives. And as the growing number of users around the world enjoying their music, podcasts, radio, and calls without cutting themselves off from their surroundings shows, we are succeeding!
Now we have a new name and are looking forward to sharing more great times with our users
AfterShokz to Shokz: When?
Starts from Dec 29th 2021
As part of our celebrations, and to mark our coming of age as a brand, we are changing our name to Shokz. On Dec 29th 2021, all global branding and logos on the Shokz official website, online store and social media channel will be updated gradually. Offline channels will change progressively and the full transition to Shokz will be complete within 3 months.

We have chosen to simplify AfterShokz to Shokz as this is shorter as it is easier to remember and share. You, our fans and followers are already our #ShokzSquad and we love how powerful Shokz sounds!
We may be changing our name but we are keeping our mission the same. Shokz celebrated 10 years of business in October 2021. As we approach our second decade of disrupting the headphone category, we’re renewing our mission of making the best bone conduction sports headphones and making our technology accessible to all.
We want listening to music to be comfortable, enjoyable, and above all else, safe. With our headphones you can listen to your favourite tracks without canceling out the world around you.
AfterShokz to Shokz - what makes the new logo special?
While at first glance it may seem like not much has changed in terms of our new design, these changes were all made deliberately and with meaning. Allow us to further break it down for you:
1. Our new logo has been shortened from “AfterShokz” to “Shokz”, meaning that optically the eye will land on the “o” in the middle of the word.
2. The “o” contains the sound wave/vibration representation, symbolizing our focus on bone conduction technology and acoustics.
3. The dot that was previously in the center of the “o” has also been removed, to further convey our mission of being open.

AfterShokz to Shokz -what’s new about our headphones: OpenRun and OpenSwim?
Other exciting things are happening too! Aeropex is going to exit from our store, while the upgraded version of Aeropex: OpenRun, packed with the quick charge feature will be returning to the market along with the AfterShokz changes to Shokz.
Xtrainerz, the swimming MP3 player, will be re-named as OpenSwim.

Though we may have a new look, rest assured we’re still the same brand you’ve come to know, grow with, and love. From our hero product Aeropex, that represents fitness and endurance, to our entry-level product OpenMove, designed to fit your lifestyle, or for any new products in the future, Shokz will be inheriting all of the same features as AfterShokz.
We will continue our exploration in the field of sounds and acoustics on our mission of making people’s lives better with innovative technology.
