Eilish McColgan's career in athletics showcases her resilience and outstanding achievements.
Born in Dundee, Scotland, she first made her mark at the London 2012 Olympics, setting a Scottish record in the 3000m steeplechase.
Overcoming injury, she transitioned to flat racing, reaching the 5,000m final in Rio 2016 and competing in Tokyo 2020 — 3 decades after her mother's world championship victory in Tokyo.
The year of 2022 was a highlight in her career, as she won the Commonwealth gold and broke Scottish records in the 10,000m.
Eilish has also redefined British records in the 5km and half marathon, achieving the European best in the 10 miles.
Initially collaborating with Shokz in 2019, Eilish has recently joined the Shokz squad again.
Coached by her mother, Liz, Eilish not only excels in her sport but also advocates for body positivity, motivating athletes around the world.
